Job Summary
Provide small group instruction, tutoring, and homework assistance to reinforce school-day learning and improve student outcomes. Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment while supervising students during transitions, meals, and program activities. Collaborate with program staff and teachers to align enrichment activities with identified student needs, supporting project-based learning, arts integration, and cultural enrichment. Track attendance and collect data to support program accountability and grant compliance. Build positive relationships with students to foster consistent engagement and social-emotional growth. Participate in required training, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development. Work Monday through Friday before-school, after-school, or summer shifts, earning $19.30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Demonstrated classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students in grades K–8
- Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background check
- Willingness to complete a drug screening

- Ability to work before-school hours (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
