Job Summary
Provide small group instruction, tutoring, and homework assistance to reinforce school-day learning across before-school, after-school, and summer programming. Assist with classroom management, supervise students during transitions and meals, and collaborate with teachers to align enrichment activities with academic priorities. Support project-based learning, arts integration, and cultural enrichment while tracking attendance and collecting data for grant compliance. Build positive relationships with students to foster social-emotional growth and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. Requires high school diploma, one year of experience with children, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Demonstrated classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students in grades K–8
- Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background check
- Willingness to complete a drug screening
