Job Summary
Conduct small group instruction, tutoring, and homework assistance to reinforce school-day learning and improve student outcomes. Supervise students during transitions, meals, and program activities to ensure safety, compliance, and appropriate behavior. Collaborate with program staff and teachers to align enrichment activities with identified student needs and academic priorities. Assist with attendance tracking, data collection, and reporting to support program accountability and grant compliance. Build positive relationships with students to support consistent attendance, engagement, and social-emotional growth. Participate in required training, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development. Work Monday through Friday in before-school, after-school, and summer programming with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Demonstrated classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8
- Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background check
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Reliable transportation
