Job Summary

Develop and lead academic instruction, tutoring, and STEAM project-based learning for 21st CCLC participants through eLearning and direct virtual sessions. Facilitate age-appropriate lessons, homework assistance, and tutorials while collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure effective academic support. Monitor site operations, collect and submit required data reports, and maintain incident paperwork in compliance with 21st CCLC and Bright From The Start standards. This role supports the After School Director and Program Director to deliver high-quality educational services to children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Georgia Teaching Certificate
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in working with in Title 1 schools
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in working in extended day programming
  • Teaching Certificate
  • Working knowledge of 21st CCLC requirements
  • Working knowledge of computers: MS Word, MS Excel, data base management
  • Ability to obtain working knowledge of 21st CCLC requirements
  • Pass a criminal background (may including fingerprinting) and drug screening check
  • Pass a Motor Vehicles Record and have own transportation
  • CPR within 30 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in working with in Title 1 schools preferred
