Job Summary
Part-time Office Clerk for the 21st CCLC After-School Program at Freehold Intermediate School. The role supports the 21st CCLC Project Director with clerical and administrative tasks, including attendance tracking, program data entry, student rosters, file maintenance, translation of documents (Spanish preferred), and communication with parents. Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, ~12 hours per week, effective Sept 2026 through June 2027. Requires High School Diploma (college coursework in education a plus), strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with Word/Excel/Google Workspace, and a background check with proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status. Duties also encompass organizing supplies and coordinating with the Site Supervisor to ensure program activities run smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field a plus
- Excellent communication skills with adults and children
- Effective computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Ability to speak, write, and translate Spanish (preferred)
- Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Attending to student program files, including creating and maintaining student program rosters
- Monitor and record students' daily attendance
- Program data entry to include daily attendance and surveys
- Translate documents (when applicable)
- General office duties, including organizing and maintaining program supplies
- Communicate with parents regarding student attendance
- Correspond with Site Supervisor to ensure program activities are functioning properly
- All other duties as requested by the 21st CCLC Project Director
