Job Summary
Program Specialist for 21st CCLC ACE programs responsible for delivering high-quality, out-of-school-time programming, coordinating with the Project Director to lead a team, and ensuring family and community engagement, summer and daytime enrichment, and program reporting. Sets and maintains communications and marketing across sites, establishes parent resource centers, oversees attendance and budgets, provides staff orientation and training, and leads site coordinators and staff to meet grant outcomes and compliance with district safety and program directives.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Some college is preferred
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in education, recreation, child development or related fields highly considered
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience with groups of children ages 4-17
- A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience managing small teams
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in education, recreation, child development or out of school time programs
- Bilingual and Spanish speaking candidates are highly considered
