Job Summary
Program Specialist responsible for leading ACE program activities across Texas campuses, coordinating family and community engagement, and ensuring high-quality academic enrichment and summer programs. Manages site actions plans, communications, budget directives, and reporting; develops and delivers parent/family events, supports staff development, and maintains partnerships with school staff and community organizations. Oversees attendance, staff scheduling, and translation support for families; leads program evaluation, grant compliance, and data collection for reporting. Requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; bilingual abilities and valid transportation preferred. Ability to manage multiple sites, adapt to flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and ensure program integrity and safety across sites.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience working with groups of children ages 4-17
- A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience managing small teams
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in education, recreation, child development or out of school time programs
