Job Summary
Tax Solutions Group Intern role focusing on tax project work across cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization vs. expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction. You’ll work directly with clients to identify and resolve issues, maintain knowledge of IRS regulations and relevant tax incentives, and support documentation of credits and deductions. The internship offers exposure to multiple service lines, client relations development, and opportunities to contribute to networking and business development activities. The program emphasizes hands-on experience for an entry-level professional pursuing an accounting degree and CPA-path goals, with flexible, in-person work expectations and daily determination of a suitable working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a Master's degree in accounting or tax
- On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam
- Ability to work non-exempt with potential hours exceeding 40 per week
- Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and occasionally internationally
