2027 Winter - GRM, Operational Risk and Regulatory Management Intern (4 Months)

Job Summary
Conduct key operational risk management activities in the 1LOD BUORM team, including updating ORM program records in Archer, validating job aids, and supporting change initiative risk assessment reviews. Serve as the central point of contact for 2LOD oversight requests, monitor policy adherence breaches, and manage IT and Maverick findings. Establish operational risk communications, develop training materials, and facilitate workshops to educate stakeholders on designated risk areas. Build data solutions to increase operational efficiency and identify process simplification opportunities. Work on transformational projects delivering new value while continuously seeking ways to streamline workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in risk and control management, review, reporting and analysis of multiple data points
- Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel - intermediate, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem solvers that are continually looking for opportunities to streamline and increase operational efficiency
- Adaptability, including high capacity to learn, pivot when required, working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Must be located within Ontario for the duration of the work term
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027
- If not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully
