Job Summary
Perform quantitative analysis, including company, manager, and performance modeling alongside valuation work. Conduct company, manager, and industry research while participating in due diligence calls with company management teams and General Partners. Assist in all aspects of transactions, whether fund, direct, or secondary, and communicate investment recommendations through written work such as one-page summaries and investment memorandums. Develop and maintain proprietary transaction and market intelligence, then perform investment monitoring analysis to support the investment team. Handle other ad hoc projects reflecting the broader needs of the Firm. This Summer Analyst role at StepStone Venture Capital offers hands-on learning with the investment team and participation in weekly calls with the broader partnership.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in December 2027 or Spring 2028
- Must be able to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- GPA of 3.2 or above
- High proficiency in MS Word, Power Point and Excel
- Demonstrated track record of academic success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong, demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skills
- Team player and strong work ethic
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply
