Job Summary
Operate and maintain equipment throughout the plant, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and heavy off-road equipment. Become familiar with the complete production process of an Aggregate Quarry/Plant and understand the traits of high-performing managers. Adhere to and enforce ethical, safety, and environmental measures while ensuring all activities comply with company policies and the Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This 10-12 week rotational internship allows ownership of a project to develop leadership and time management skills. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Mining, Engineering, or Construction Management, hold a valid driver's license, and possess reliable transportation. Majority of time is spent outside in all weather conditions with noise levels up to 90 decibels. Monthly housing allowance included for relocating candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or trade certification in Engineering Disciplines (Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Materials, or other related engineering fields)
- Currently pursuing a degree or trade certification in Construction Management
- Currently pursuing a degree or trade certification in Mining Related fields
- Valid driver's license
- Over 18-years old
- Possess reliable day-to-day transportation
- Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 90 dbs
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry
- Must be able to work outside
- Must adhere to and enforce ethical, safety and environmental measures
- Must ensure all activities are performed in accordance with the Company's Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with the Company's policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
