Job Summary
Manage critical reporting, forecasting, capacity analysis, and budgeting for the alternatives business while overseeing governance, administration, and transaction management across US and Europe. Lead complex projects with large cross-functional teams and deliver relevant data and analytics to support portfolio manager decision-making. Develop and manage strategic initiatives that allow the business to scale, achieve goals, and mitigate risk. You will work closely with senior leaders and peers to create innovative, standardized solutions and participate in the Global Month of Volunteering. This 10-week summer program includes Fundamentals Training and hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, with formal feedback provided at mid- and end-of-summer.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
- Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027)
- Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Are business proficient in English

- Can articulate ideas and strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in the following is a plus: Excel, SQL, Business Objects, Bloomberg, iLEVEL, PowerBI, and DealCloud
- Preferred but not required: buy or sell side trade room, private equity and/or real estate, legal and/or compliance, product and/or project managment related experience
- Have demonstrated curiosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes
