Job Summary

Summer constitutional litigation internship for law students. Interns assist with ongoing litigation by conducting legal and factual research and writing, analyze potential new litigation, and draft demand letters to resolve constitutional violations without filing suit. They may also draft pleadings, briefs, or discovery. In-house training and practical experience in public-interest legal practice are provided, with opportunities to participate in events in Washington, D.C., or virtually. Work location includes remote work from anywhere in the United States with potential in-person work in the Washington, D.C. office. Compensation includes a stipend for a ten-week term. The role emphasizes First Amendment and church-state separation issues, and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds.
