Job Summary
Conduct legal research, draft substantive motions and pleadings, and attend hearings, depositions, trials, and mediations alongside attorneys across the firm's practice groups. Receive mentoring and feedback from board-certified counsel while participating in social events, client interactions, and community service opportunities. Work in our Jacksonville office for 12 weeks during Summer 2027 on a paid hourly basis, with no housing stipend provided. This program is designed for current ABA-accredited law students, particularly rising 3Ls, to gain a true feel for practicing law at Taylor Day, a firm recognized as a "Best Place to Work" in Jacksonville.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current law student at an ABA accredited college or University
- Strong desire to live (and build a career) in Jacksonville
- ability work in-office for Summer 2027
- Top 50% of class

- Interested in civil litigation, particularly representing defendants
- Top 25% of class
- At least one extracurricular such as Law Review, specialized Law Journal, Moot Court, or Mock Trial
