Job Summary
Conduct entry-level tax return preparation, perform bookkeeping and data entry, assist with payroll processing, and execute client file imaging tasks under supervision. Track and analyze information while utilizing accounting and tax-specific software to support daily operations. Complete three paid positions from January to mid-April, working 24–30 hours weekly with a background check required. Located in Gainesville, Georgia, this role offers insight into staff accountant responsibilities within a firm celebrating over 40 years of service in Northeast Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree with a major or concentration in accounting
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to meet project timelines
- Proficiently utilize accounting technology
- Strong computer skills
- Availability to work 24-30 hours a week
- Successful completion of a background check
- Valid credentials to work in the U.S.
- Must provide their own transportation and housing for the duration of the internship

- GPA of 3.0 or higher
