Job Summary

Design and optimize processes for purification, drug product, and analytical development to transform lab discoveries into patient treatments. Pioneer new testing methods and decode biological data using DNA, RNA, and protein analysis to advance gene therapies. Analyze proteins and metabolites to understand disease mechanisms, ensuring medicines meet sterility and quality standards. Create entirely new molecules for drug discovery and transform scientific data into insights using AI and machine learning. Lead cross-functional initiatives that bring new medicines to market faster and implement technologies that accelerate research. This six-month co-op program begins January 2027 at Sanofi's Waltham, MA office. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited university, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to relocate for full-time, on-site work.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Genetic Engineering, Medicine, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Environmental Health & Safety, or related life sciences and applied fields
  • Master's in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Software Engineering, or related life sciences, engineering, and technical fields
  • PhD in Virology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Physics, or related chemistry, biochemistry, life sciences, and engineering fields
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card)
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship
  • Ability to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship
