2027 Spring Audit (Government and Non-Profit) Internship

Job Summary
Conduct entry-level audit testing in-office and on-site at client offices while embedded with the full-time audit team. Perform data entry functions, work with audit and accounting specific software, track and analyze information, and perform client file imaging tasks under close supervision. Assist with a variety of entry-level tasks and special projects to gain real-world experience as a beginning staff accountant. The program runs from January through mid-April with a 20-30 hour weekly commitment and requires 70% travel. Candidates must be currently enrolled in college pursuing an accounting degree with a 3.0 GPA, possess strong computer skills, and provide their own transportation and housing.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree with a major or concentration in accounting
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to meet project timelines
- Proficiently utilize accounting technology
- Strong computer skills
- Availability to work 20-30 hours a week
- Travel 70% of the time
- Successful completion of a background check
- Valid credentials to work in the U.S.
- All students must provide their own transportation and housing for the duration of the internship
