Job Summary
Conduct underwriting and due diligence for potential acquisitions, including financial analysis, market research, site visits, and document review. Build financial models and perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate investment opportunities, then develop and articulate independent views on sector attractiveness. Construct and communicate investment theses clearly in writing and verbally, defending positions in team settings and Investment Committee meetings. Draft investment memorandums and presentation materials for acquisitions, assist with asset management tasks, and support fundraising efforts by preparing presentation materials and analyzing historical performance. Complete a case study for a mock investment to be presented to the Investment Committee. This summer internship offers a learning experience with SRE's Investment Team, which manages $210 billion in capital responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Undergraduate student graduating anywhere from December 2027 through June 2028
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skills
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive and team-oriented approach
- Demonstrated interest in real estate investing
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply
