Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day clinical management of patients, including assessments, admissions, and ward round attendance under supervision. Perform delegated unit duties in accordance with hospital policies and provide clinical supervision for junior medical staff. Ensure quality patient care through the development of management plans while further developing general clinical and decision-making skills. Work within a 24-hour service environment supported by a dedicated Nurse Liaison for elective lists.
Required Qualifications
- primary medical qualification MBBS or equivalent
- current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- relevant clinical experience in area of discipline
- commitment to ongoing CPD
- commitment to teaching and supervision of Junior medical staff
- satisfactory Police Record Check
- Immunisation Status Clearance
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
