Job Summary
Summer Analyst in JPMorgan Chase's Global Research within the Commercial & Investment Bank Research team. You'll model financial statements and industry dynamics, perform detailed valuation work, assess relevant news events, analyze complex data sets, write research notes and sector overviews, and advise internal and external clients. The program offers hands-on experience, skills training, and networking with potential for full-time employment based on achievement. Expected graduation from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in 2027–2028, strong analytical and writing skills, genuine interest in financial markets, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and English fluency. Eligible for U.S. work authorization with limited STEM sponsorship; rolling class selections with completion of HireVue video interview and a math test as part of the process. Location: New York, NY, United States; on-site, in-person role. Participation requires application, resume submission, and completion of relevant questions.
Required Qualifications
- Expected graduation date December 2027 – June 2028 from Bachelor’s or Master’s program
- If pursuing a Master’s degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Proven analytical skills, experience with quantitative (e.g., algebra, statistics, probability) and data analysis
- Exceptional writing skills
- Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects
- To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S.
