Job Summary
Paid in-person, 12-week Manufacturing Engineer Intern role for Summer 2027. You will work on projects supporting teams designing and building aerospace structures using carbon fiber composite material systems, with exposure to engineers designing and analyzing composite structures in aerospace programs and to technicians manufacturing those structures. Responsibilities include receiving problem statements and guidelines, independently performing trade studies and designs for approval, executing hardware procurement as necessary, and testing, verifying, and demonstrating the effectiveness of your solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access Controlled Unclassified Information.
