Job Summary
Conduct four-year mechanical trade training in longwall machinery overhauls at HBT Services QLD plants in Paget. Perform gearbox repairs and equipment maintenance under guidance from specialized mentors while earning wages. Complete the MEM30129 Certificate III Mechanical Fitter qualification through hands-on learning with the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Demonstrate safety mindset, reliability, and enthusiasm during the one-month application process involving aptitude tests and interviews.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed Year 12 recently
- Willingness to learn from experienced mentors
