Job Summary
Define requirements, participate in design reviews, and troubleshoot avionics systems for commercial and military aircraft. Work through integration issues, validate system behavior in the lab, and debug hardware and software interfaces. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, suppliers, and test labs to ensure customer and warfighter needs are met throughout the product development lifecycle. This hands-on role spans from initial concepts to product sell-off, focusing on display and control hardware development. You will gain experience with environmental testing, EMI certification, and embedded software in safety-critical environments.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- Coursework or project work related to embedded systems, avionics, or system design
- Experience with systems engineering concepts
- Experience working on team-based technical projects
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay organized when handling multiple tasks
- Must be available for travel
- Must be available for flexible hours/shifts
