Job Summary
Conduct a two-year engineering rotation through departments including aerodynamics, rotordynamics, mechanical design, and manufacturing systems to build a technical foundation for Solar Turbines. Acquire gas compressor product knowledge, develop an enterprise perspective, and network with global teams while completing challenging assignments across multiple six-month rotations. Prepare for long-term placement in Gas Compressor Engineering after the program concludes. This entry-level role supports the development of the next generation of highly capable engineers within a global team creating sustainable energy solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or other related Engineering discipline
- Overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience, previous co-op or internship experience
- Technical knowledge of engineering fundamentals
- Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available for weekend shifts
