Job Summary
Conduct commissioning and maintenance field assignments at customer sites while completing classroom, online, and hands-on training in controls systems, engine teardowns, and rigging. Support a Fleet Manager in maintaining machinery management agreements, facilitating equipment failure investigations, and submitting engineering reports and analysis. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment requirements by providing overviews to Field Service Representatives and managing service bulletin implementation. Work onsite five days a week with heavy travel, overtime, and possible offshore assignments. This 3-year rotation program includes 14 months of training followed by 2 years at a U.S. district office, preparing you to manage machinery for Solar Turbines' global gas turbine fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering
- Must be able and willing to travel, relocate, and work overtime
- High integrity and a high level of self-confidence
- Ability to handle stress and communicate in a professional manner
- Well versed in both Solar and customer Health Safety Security and Environment management systems
- Ensure compliance to the Health Safety Security and Environment requirements, best practices
- Provide overviews to Field Service Representatives and other personnel who will be visiting customer site
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
