Job Summary
9-week summer internship in risk management within JPMorganChase’s Commercial & Investment Bank. Work across Credit Risk, Market Risk, Chief Investment Office (CTC) Risk, and Country Risk teams with locations in New York and other U.S. offices. Responsibilities include performing analysis/due diligence on counterparties/products, monitoring risk sensitivities, building financial models, contributing to analytical exercises on global events, and preparing reports with recommendations for senior management. Gains include learning risk concepts across multiple asset classes, collaborating with regulators and stakeholders, and developing skills in valuation analysis, corporate finance, economics, and risk analysis. Requires enrollment in a U.S. college/university, a GPA of 3.2+, an expected graduation date in 2027–2028, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; proficiency in Excel and Word and fluency in English are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in college/university in the U.S.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Expected graduation date December 2027 through June 2028 from bachelor’s or master’s program
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, project management, and communication skills
