Job Summary
Summer Analyst in JPMorgan’s Global Research within the Commercial & Investment Bank division in Shanghai. Responsibilities include modeling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation, assessing news events, analyzing complex data sets, writing research notes and market overviews, and advising internal and external clients. Candidates should have graduation timing in 2027–2028 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, strong analytical and writing skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin with authorization to work in China. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, skills training, and potential full-time offers after completion; HireVue video interview is part of the process and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in China
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in progress (expected graduation Sept 2027–Jul 2028)
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Exceptional writing skills
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate in a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, responsible, and able to manage own projects
- Global Markets experience or interest is a plus
