Job Summary
Two-year Constitutional Litigation Fellowship focused on advancing church-state separation through impact litigation. Responsibilities include drafting briefs and pleadings, client interaction, witness interviews, discovery and settlement negotiations, screening complaints, and potential depositions and in-court examinations. Training to develop trial and appellate litigation skills, with pathways to clerking or roles in public-interest organizations. Opportunities to participate in oral arguments and public speaking, under supervision of experienced litigators. Eligible candidates are third-year law students, recent graduates, or judicial clerks with a strong commitment to public interest and civil-rights/First Amendment issues, and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse communities. Compensation ranges from $83,640 to $109,777.50 annually, with remote work allowed across specified states and occasional in-person visits to Washington, DC.
