Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of client facilities, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vent cleaning, and restroom upkeep. Perform routine inspections, document activities, execute heavy cleaning tasks and special projects, and remove trash from office areas and community perimeters. Manage meticulous grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, parking lots, and other community buildings while providing excellent customer service. Work flexible day or evening shifts, including mornings starting at 6:00 AM or evenings until 12:30 AM, with availability for weekends and additional hours as needed. This temporary seasonal role supports Alliance Building Services' commitment to professional integrity and responsive service across New York City.
Required Qualifications
- experience in commercial building janitorial/custodial maintenance and cleaning
- Must be available to work any shift as assigned
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Professional appearance and communication
- Ability to work either mornings, 6:00AM, 7:00AM, 8:00AM, and 9:00AM - 5:00PM or evenings, 5:00 PM until 12:30 AM, with flexibility to work additional hours and weekends as needed
- You must be capable of standing and walking for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., to bend, reach, and carry
- Ability to take direction and work in a team-oriented environment
