Job Summary
Deliver curriculum across public speaking fundamentals, debate strategy, research techniques, and competitive performance while providing individualized coaching and completing detailed student assessments. Judge practice debates, presentations, and camp competitions, and support the Camp Director in ensuring an excellent experience for every student and family. Participate in 5-10 hours of pre-camp training and planning per session. Commit to a minimum of 6 weeks across Summer 2026, teaching at various prestigious university campuses including Yale, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. Arrive one day before each two-week session. Compensation includes $2,000 per session plus provided housing and meals.
Required Qualifications
- teaching or coaching experience in Speech & Debate, Forensics, Mock Trial, Model UN, or similar competitive speaking activities
- Minimum 2 Years of Classroom Experience in 6 to 12th grade School or College Level
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Staff may be required to walk long distances, while supervising children, in between campuses' locations under summer weather conditions
