Job Summary
Conduct mission-aligned internships alongside active Peraton programs under centralized, by-name requests initiated by local teams. Participate in hands-on, personalized training plans while evaluating potential fit for future full-time employment. Submit required eligibility applications to record background for DoD SkillBridge reporting and program sponsorship approval. Ensure residency matches internship location, as remote work is not permitted. Complete Transition Assistance Program courses before separation to support a smooth military-to-civilian transition.
Required Qualifications
- Already hold the required clearance level
- Receive clearance verification and approval through Peraton's Personnel Security before starting the internship
- SkillBridge Eligibility: The DoD SkillBridge program is available only to active-duty service members and certain members of the National Guard and Reserves who are within 180 days of separation (and no fewer than 30 days before separation)
- You must live in the city and state (or city and country) where the internship will take place
- Peraton does not offer remote SkillBridge internships
Desired Qualifications
- We strongly encourage service members to complete all required Transition Assistance Program (TAP) courses before beginning SkillBridge
Additional Requirements
- Only active-duty service members and certain members of the National Guard and Reserves are eligible.
- Internships are not assigned centrally; each must be approved by the specific Peraton program.
