Job Summary
Assist with field setup, facility cleanliness, trash removal, and hydration station prep for nine replica Major League ballparks. Safely operate equipment including tractors, golf carts, and UTVs for grounds and field maintenance. Maintain artificial turf fields and infrastructure while conducting safety and cleanliness checks for fans and players. Spot and report maintenance issues regarding HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, turf, landscaping, and paved surfaces. Support operations, food & beverage, and retail departments when needed. This seasonal role runs from February 14 to November 8, 2026, at Ripken Myrtle Beach, requiring a positive, customer-centered approach to support tournament experiences for teams and families.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate, or currently working towards a high school diploma/GED
- Prior work experience or an interest in a career in Facilities or Grounds Maintenance or willingness to learn
- Outgoing, high-energy personality with strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented problem-solver with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Team player with a strong work ethic, ready to work long hours and weekends as needed based on business needs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be exposed to dust/dirt at the complex
- Ability to be exposed to extreme hot/cold temperatures
