Job Summary
Provide thrilling and atmospheric entertainment while interacting with park guests in assigned Street Scare Zones or Haunted Houses. Perform regularly according to schedules set by Entertainment Leadership, maintaining personal appearance and costume standards. Assist in daily operational aspects, including reporting prop repairs and executing backstage tasks or cleaning duties. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedural directions while supporting fellow cast and crew members. Complete all required training, including memorizing scripts for specific character roles and passing necessary certifications. Attend an onsite audition by August 22nd and be available for rehearsals and performances through November 1st, including weekends and evening hours in various weather conditions. This seasonal role offers up to $15 per hour for candidates meeting specific height and physical requirements for various character types.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work weekends in the fall
- Must attend an onsite audition to be considered for employment
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must demonstrate ability to perform in casted role during the audition process
- Must be able to work outdoors during evening hours in various weather conditions
- Must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates (schedule conflicts must be pre-approved)
- Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
- Must be able and willing to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be able to successfully complete all company and department training requirements
- Must be able to bend, reach & lift up to 30 lbs
- Some positions require ability to climb stairs
