Job Summary
Execute all dispatch functions by facilitating park-wide communication via phone, radio, and email. Receive incoming calls for service, dispatch security and medical emergencies to proper personnel, and log all incidents in the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. Assign incident reports, distribute keys and radio equipment, and monitor missing persons throughout the park. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports while communicating radio repair issues. Maintain composure during power failures or other emergency situations. Requires open availability for weekends, days, nights, and holidays to work a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to remain composed in highly stressful situations
- Must have an open availability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, varied shifts, and holidays
- Must have the ability to use Microsoft Office programs
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Must be able to meet aggressive deadlines
- Must be able to make efficient decisions either independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, or maintain continuous movement for an extended period of time
- Must be able to complete all necessary Six Flags Training courses
- Must obtain necessary certifications
