Job Summary
Deputy Program Communications Director will coordinate with in-state and national partners to create Calls to Action for mobilizers, maintain detailed state plans, schedule Calls to Action in the Empower App, and ensure timely, error-free payments to mobilizers. The role involves collaboration with team members and external partners, execution and analysis of analytics to raise program awareness, and serving as the primary external communications contact to build trust with partners, all while operating within a multi-state, remote program.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Work Authorization
- 6+ years of experience in progressive campaigns and organizing
- Experience managing political relationships
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify political jargon
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multi-state programs
- Experience with Empower App or willingness to learn
- Ability to adapt to changing operational needs
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a remote team environment
