Job Summary
Create thrills by day and frights by night by transforming into fictional characters with provided makeovers and costumes to terrorize guests in haunted attractions and scare zones. Perform in crowds, varied weather, tight dark surroundings, and under special effects like strobes and fog while wearing masks, makeup, and props for extended periods. Carry and wear up to 20 pounds of costume weight while maintaining a clean environment and adhering to safety standards. Follow directions precisely, stay in character, and demonstrate strong work ethic. Auditions are required, with pre-registration via a provided link and onsite check-in at the HR Training Room.
Required Qualifications
- Must participate in an Entertainment Audition and complete a basic interview
- Must be at least 18 years of age by first rehearsal date
- Must adhere to park standards and rules and must maintain a safe environment
- Must be outgoing
- Must have a good attitude
- Must be willing to participate as a member of the team
- Must be able to carry and wear at least 20 pounds of costume weight
- Must be able to stay in character for extended periods of time
- Must be able to perform around loud noises, in the dark or under special effect lighting (occasionally strobes), and in theatrical fog
- Must maintain a clean work environment
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags Purpose and Values
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays including Halloween
- Must be able to take directions and follow instructions
