Job Summary
Intern/Co-op role in Mechanical Test Engineering developing test stands and fixtures, documenting and deploying test setups, and performing engineering validation testing. Responsible for creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, analyzing CAD designs for rapid prototyping, and generating test plans and test hardware. Collaborates with Technical Operations, Design Engineering, and Production; travel not required; located in Wilmington, MA. Requires enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s program with SolidWorks experience; includes teamwork and independent work in a professional office setting. Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour; benefits available for 20+ hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Mechanical Engineering (3rd or 4th year preferred)
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Experience creating 3D solid models
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
