Job Summary
Provide substitute teaching coverage for teachers; implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards in absence of regular teachers; supervise students during recess and transitions, breakfast, lunch, and afterschool; support arrival/dismissal and class transitions; communicate effectively with students and colleagues; participate in school-wide activities and celebrations; follow school policies and participate in required background checks and training; compensation offered in tiers based on education level (Tier 1 with HS diploma, Tier 2 with AA or BA, Tier 2B with Bachelor's, and Tier 1 certified at higher rates); note: positions are part-time with half-day or full-day schedules (7:15-11:30 am or 7:15 am - 3:45 pm) in Sumter, SC; opportunities to work within a two-teacher model (lead teacher and teaching fellow) and support Scholars’ college/career readiness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Associate’s degree with 0-2 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree preferred)
