Job Summary
Engineering Intern will own a meaningful slice of a live project within Estes Energy's power systems (mechanical, electrical, controls, battery, manufacturing, or systems engineering depending on focus). You will design, build, and test components, develop and run experiments, build tools or analyses to move the team faster, document work, and present findings. You will take ownership of a defined project and drive it to a measurable result by the end of the term. The role emphasizes first-principles reasoning, data-driven decision making, and cost/scale considerations, with collaboration alongside senior engineers and a hands-on, lab-focused internship experience.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Manufacturing, Systems, Material Science, Metallurgy or a related engineering field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
