Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer (Early Career) to bridge design and high-volume production for Anduril's Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Drive design-for-manufacturing practices, provide sustaining support across mechanical, electrical, harnessing, and firmware issues, collaborate with design and production teams, author work instructions and quality plans, develop tooling for fabrication/assembly, contribute to board interconnects and inspection, and analyze metrics for cost and capacity improvements. 1+ year in electromechanical hardware manufacturing or design, hands-on fabrication/assembly experience, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. US Person status required.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in a technical field such as engineering or manufacturing
- 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
- Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment
- Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples
- Experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.)
- A genuine interest in manufacturing, thirst for learning, and high degree of ownership
