Job Summary

Conduct daily grounds and landscaping maintenance for city and BLW properties, including grass cutting, tree trimming, trash removal, and facility repairs. Operate heavy equipment such as a 3-ton dump truck, bobcat loader, and commercial lawn machinery to deliver materials and perform site cleanup. Manage assigned parks, tennis courts, and athletic fields while maintaining restrooms and parking lots. Notify the Foreperson of maintenance needs, equipment failures, and missing tools. Lead probationers from the Community Service Program as assigned. Work a forty-hour week with rotating schedules from Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to work forty-hour work week, with normal workdays scheduled either Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to add and subtract whole numbers
Must be able to carry out instructions
Must be in good physical condition
Ability to pass a physical examination at time of hire
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift, pull or push moderate to heavy objects
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
