Job Summary
Develop and iterate detail production build schedules; provide frontline manufacturing-floor support; apply Continuous Improvement tools to minimize waste, reduce cost, increase capacity, and optimize schedules. Analyze metrics on efficiency, cycle times, WIP, manpower, and cost; train frontline leaders to improve current state; collaborate with manufacturing management to recover plans; provide capacity planning and facility layouts for composite operations; role may be filled at Associate Industrial Engineer (T01) or Industrial Engineer (T02); requires Bachelor’s by June 2026 for T01 or Master’s or Bachelor’s by June 2026 with 1 year IE experience for T02; must obtain U.S. government security clearance (Secret) and possibly Program Special Access; relocation assistance may be available; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering or similar STEM) by June 2026 for T01 or Master’s degree by June 2026 or Bachelor’s by June 2026 with 1 year of IE experience for T02
- U.S. citizenship (pre-requisite) for security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access
- Be completing or has completed degree by deadline (June 2026) as applicable to level
- Experience or coursework in industrial engineering, manufacturing environment, data analysis, and scheduling is preferred
