Job Summary
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of sensors and related test equipment; support the production floor and test Technicians with technical guidance; analyze test failures and failure data to identify trends; support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions; identify continuous improvement opportunities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance, and U.S. citizenship, plus experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, waveform generators). Travel 10% and role located in Rolling Meadows, IL within Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering, IRCM Sensor group.
Required Qualifications
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in an Engineering degree
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Experience using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Waveform Generators, etc.)
