Job Summary
Entry-level consulting role supporting BRG Corporate Finance Turnaround & Restructuring engagements. Responsibilities include executing multiple tasks across engagements, including 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models; preparing reports, analyses, and client deliverables; and collaborating with team members and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or degree equivalent) in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, 0-1 years of experience (including internships), strong analytical and Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Travel willingness and a professional, ethical approach are emphasized, along with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and develop insights and recommendations for clients in a consulting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; 0-1 years of experience, including internships
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data; Ability to interpret the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis and develop insights and recommendations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, and other stakeholders or professionals
- Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
- Ability to work well independently or in a team dynamic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work demands and learn quickly
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Willingness to travel when/if needed
