Job Summary
Elementary classroom teacher needed for Driggs Elementary, teaching elementary students on Wednesday afternoons during the school year. Responsibilities include implementing district-approved curriculum, developing lesson plans, administering ongoing assessments, differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs (including students with special needs), promoting a safe classroom, maintaining records, communicating progress to parents and administration, coordinating with grade-level staff, and administering standardized tests. Requires knowledge of current teaching methods, elementary curriculum, data analysis for action planning, and the ability to engage in professional growth and collaborative planning.
Required Qualifications
- Idaho State Certification as an Elementary Teacher
- Idaho State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred
- Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- Masters Degree in related area preferred
- Experience: Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus
