Job Summary

Assist special education students and passengers with safe loading, unloading, and behavior management during daily bus transport and emergency situations. Secure students and equipment, monitor special needs individuals until release, and administer first aid or prescribed medications as required. Collaborate with bus drivers to communicate health issues, schedule changes, and implement behavior strategies while enforcing passenger rules. Prepare incident reports, document misconduct, and attend unit meetings for training on mobility aids and substitute driving. Ensure parent participation where regulations require it and maintain accurate records of activities. Perform other duties related to student bus transportation efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Criminal Background Clearance
