Job Summary
Enrichment Activities Teacher responsible for developing age-appropriate enrichment courses focused on a broad set of arts and performing arts, in collaboration with other Academies Teachers to provide varied experiences across the year. Role emphasizes using Expeditionary Learning and MTSS practices, aligning units to state standards, and incorporating data-informed instruction. Responsibilities include creating engaging, student-centered classrooms; planning and executing units across math, science, social studies and arts; monitoring classroom structures; maintaining orderly records; engaging families and community volunteers; participating in ongoing professional development; and supporting a culture of collaboration and instructional improvement. This position supports One City Schools’ mission in Wisconsin, with a 8-hour workday and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, or related field
- Valid Wisconsin Educators License or willingness to become certified ASAP
- Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience preferred but not required
- Completion of a background check required
- Be at least 18 years of age
