Job Summary
Develop instructional plans, execute lessons, and assess student achievement in Career Technical Education Technology courses while managing classroom behavior and special education accommodations. Maintain professional growth through state and national organizations, collaborate with staff on curriculum modifications, and utilize technology to support the learning process. Prepare and file required reports, manage extracurricular activities as assigned, and establish open communication with parents and community members. Work 187 days annually in compliance with Texas Education Agency guidelines and district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business related field
- Texas Teaching Certificate, with required endorsements for subject/level assigned or other permits as approved by state
- At least one (1) year of student teaching or approved internship
