Job Summary
School-Based SRBI Coordinator at Hamden Middle School focused on improving student achievement in Math and Literacy through Scientifically Researched-Based Interventions. Responsibilities include collecting and interpreting varied assessment data to identify students needing Tier II/III interventions, planning and implementing targeted instructional supports, coordinating tutors, using district data systems for monitoring progress, maintaining SRBI documentation, collaborating with Math/Literacy Specialists and other SRBI coordinators, interfacing with English/Language Arts and Mathematics Directors, PPS staff, and School Counselors, and communicating progress to families. Requires CT teaching certification (and any Special Education certification) and strong data-driven decision-making, data-management, and collaborative skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut teaching certificate appropriate to the grade levels and any Special Education certification
- Minimum Five (5) years of successful teaching experience preferred
