Job Summary
Instructional Assistant/SPED Resource at Boulder Creek Elementary School to provide support to the instructional program and assist in supervision, care and instruction of students with special needs in regular/classroom or self-contained settings. Responsibilities include adapting activities/materials under teacher direction, administering tests and assignments, assisting medically fragile or developmentally delayed students with personal hygiene and healthcare needs, implementing behavioral plans from IEPs, monitoring student behavior, documenting instructional materials and records, and collaborating with supervising staff and parents to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives. Requires CPR and First Aid certifications; expected to work under direct supervision, maintain safety, and support in a part-time, 9-month role with 6.5 hours per day. Salary is $16.99 per hour (annualized to $35,339).
